Growth Tracker is an easy to use database with a simple graphic interface, which stores data about height, weight, head circumference, and other growth measures, as well as vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature). Once the data are entered, percentile values are calculated automatically. Then you can create charts that plot the child's growth over time onto the standard percentile growth curves, developed by the Centers for Disease Control from the most recent survey of US children.
Enter your child's height and weight measurements and track their growth over time on standard Percentile Curve Growth Charts. You can create and view charts on screen, and print them to standard letter-size paper.
The software also calculates Body Mass Index (BMI), a standard way of determining whether someone is too heavy for their height to be optimally healthy ("overweight"). An alternative measurement of being overweight, Waist-Hip Ratio, useful in older adolescents and adults to predict risk of cardiovascular disease, is also included in the software. The CDC dataset now includes percentiles for BMI in children, and the values can be plotted onto percentile charts.
You can keep records on as many children as you like, and print separate charts for each.
